YouTubeで、ハンダ付け不要(Solderless)のModチップFlatMiiのビデオチュートリアルが公開されていました。

FlatMiiのビデオ尺は4:36です。ビデオ尺の短さも取り付け易さを計る目安となっていますね。見ていると誰でもできそうな気がしてきます。。
なお、以前紹介した時の物とは別の方法で取り付けているビデオです。

かつては職人芸が要求されたWiiのModチップ取り付けですが、最近はドライバーとハサミとテープがあれば可能なほど取り付けが簡略化されてきているようです。

最近はFlatMiiといい、基板に直接付けるのではなくDVD基板とメイン基板のケーブルに割り込むタイプが増えてきました。しかもFlatMiiはPCに接続してPCのHDDからアプリケーション経由でファイルロードするようですがWiiZiiは直接HDDから起動するようです。

違法性が疑われるModチップですのでおすすめはしませんが、Wiiのハッキング技術がここまで進んでいることを知ることこそ我々には必要なのです。それだけですけどね。買うだけで出来てしまうのはハッキングとは言いたくないですけどね。
