Well, as we have just seen some time ago, R2 of this Homebrew Enabler has been released, and after watching so many questions, so many emails and etc, let’s recapitulate.
少し前に、Homebrew EnablerのR2版がリリースされました。沢山の質問やメールなどを頂いていますのでここで要点をまとめてみましょう。

1. ChickHEN does NOT play ISO/PSX/similar files. So, if you want to play your backups, use your UMD’s instead.
1. ChickHENはISO/PSXなどの類いのファイルは起動できません。バックアップを起動したいという際には代わりにUMDを使用してください。
2. So, ChickHEN does (now with R2) play homebrew, for every single model and mobo revision to date.
2. ChickHENは(R2であれば)Homebrewで遊べます。(現時点までに発売されている全PSP対応。)

4. ChickHEN does NOT allow flash changes. Therefore, if you use any app that installs anything on flash0 (cfw, themes, whatever), you will end with a brick. And no, there is no (actual) solution to this for the 88v3/3k models.
4. ChickHENではフラッシュメモリーを弄れません。CFWやテーマなどのようにflash0へ何かをインストールしてしまうアプリだとPSPがbrickしてしまいます。最悪なのはそれが88v3/3000の場合解決策すらないことです。
5. You are getting problems loading the HEN? Be sure to have copied all the images onto PHOTO dir, and if you are can’t load it, shutdown completely the PSP, restart and try again. (Pressing X when the image icon has appeared, and wait)
5. HEN読み込み時に問題がありますよね？PHOTOフォルダに画像全部コピーする必要がありますが、読み込みに失敗するとPSPが再起動してしまい最初からやり直しです。(画像アイコンが現れたらXボタンを押して、ひたすら待ちます。)
And no… there are no plans for 5.50cfw or of any other way of making this ISO-capable.
さらにですが…5.50CFWについては計画はありません。こいつにISO起動させるためのなにかを作ったりというのも計画にはありません。
Anyway, any other thing to take in consideration?

相変わらず読んだ読者に悪い印象を植え付けるための記事のようですね。pre-IPLが解決する前にHENをリリースして世間を騒がせるとソニーにさらに対策を施されてしまう可能性がありますが、それを嫌って暗に批判をしているのか、それともねたみなのか…

で、最後に5.50M33のリリースはしないし、chickHENのためにISO起動させるようなものなど提供しないとボソッと言っています。
この状況だと次はDark-AleXの出番だと言われるのを嫌って先手を打った感じがします。
pre-IPL解決まで動く気ないみたいですね。Dark-AleX氏は。

ファームウェア5.03用 ChickHEN R2

Team Typhoon and group lead Davee have made good on their promise to deliver a properly working version of the universal homebrew enabler known as ChickHEN, initially released yesterday. For those in need of a refresher, this enables homebrew support on firmware 5.03 for all PSP revisions, including the PSP-3000 and TA-088 v3 equipped 2000 units.
Typhoonチームのメンバーやコミュニティのメンバーらは、昨日リリースされたHomebrewを起動させるためのChickHENについてきちんと動作するものを再リリースするようDavee氏に促しまして約束をとりつけました。これによりPSP-3000やPSP-2000のTA-088 v3基板搭載版含めファームウェア5.03の全PSPでHomebrew起動がサポートされることになります。

Despite being hampered by bugs the first time around, R2 turns the tables with proper, fully-functional homebrew support. Users are advised to stick to using 3.X kernel based applications, as older legacy software based on the 1.5 kernel will have issues with running from within the HEN environment.
ファーストリリースはバグのため動作しませんでしたが、R2がHomebrew起動対応版として舞台に登場です。ただし3.Xカーネルベースのアプリケーションならば良いようですが、1.5カーネル用の古いものはHEN上での動作に問題があるようです。

Davee氏は皆から叩かれなかったら修正する気なかったんでしょうか。そもそもHomebrewしか起動させることができないのにそれすら動かないことくらい認識していたでしょう。
デモ動画では動いてましたからコンパイルをミスったくらいしか正当な理由が見当たりません。公開するならリリース前に責任持って確認くらいしなさいっての。

TIFF画像非表示は非公式版でも対応していました。わざわざ変更履歴に掲載するってことは初版にはなかったのを非公式版で対応されて慌てて追加したのでしょうか？それとも単なるアピール…？

M for Matureで、Davee氏による物ではないため非公式という扱いながらHomebrewが動かなかったHENの修正版のリリースが伝えられていました。BrokHENって名前が笑えますがPSPでの表示はchickHENのままです。(DDTさん、ＮＡＫＫＡＮさん情報ありがとね)【情報源:M for Mature】

A member of our forums, maibrithahn, seems to have fixed the issue with Davee’s HEN release yesterday. You can now execute homebrew if you are on firmware 5.03! Just download the updated package that is attached to this post. While we suggest waiting until Davee releases an official fix we thought the impatient amongst us might want to try it out. Instructions are after the break.
フォーラムのメンバーであるMaibrithahn氏は、Davee氏が昨日リリースしたHENの不具合を修正したようです。ファームウェアが5.03ならHomebrewを実行できます。ファイルをダウンロードしてお試しください。Davee氏が正式に修正するまで待つのがベターだと思いますが、皆さん試したくてしょうがないですよね。細かいことはまた後ほど。

PSP-1000は相変わらず画像表示時点でなかなかうまくいきませんが非公式HEN導入完了後、デモ動画にもあったJellyCarというHomebrew起動確認しました。

この非公式版、昨日フォーラム眺めてた時に投稿されてきました。人柱待ちしてて寝て起きたら本物だったようです。

Official ChickHEN Revisions Incoming
公式ChickHEN修正版登場へ

We just got word from Davee that two official updates are coming to ChickHEN. After releasing it last night with an unforeseen bug the team will be releasing an update today that will allow users to successfully boot homebrew and fix the wlan and mediasync issues. For those careful readers, revision is plural in the title. Another update will come at a later date which would add plugin support and test the network update.
Davee氏から2つ、ChickHENにアップデートがリリースされるという情報を得ました。バグ付きで昨晩リリースされた後、Homebrew起動を可能にすべく、そしてワイアレスLANとメディアの同期問題を解決すべくアップデート版を本日リリースする予定です。ご心配な読者の皆様、リリースは何回かに分割されます。次回以降のアップデートでプラグインのサポートとネットワークアップデートのテスト版が導入される予定です。

Shortly after the news broke out about the unofficial fix Davee came online and informed everyone in our chat channel that he would not be releasing an update. The community was not satisfied with the quick fix and rallied together behind Davee to encourage him to work on an official update from Team Typhoon. It’s thanks to the community who replied to the request for Davee to release it that we can bring you this great news.
非公式修正版のニュースの後、Davee氏はM for Matureのチャットチャンネルに現れ、自身ではまだ修正版はリリースしていない事を明かしました。当然すぐに修正しなかった事に非難が集中し、TyphoonチームとしてDavee氏に公式に修正版リリースするよう促しました。そして皆さんのおかげでこんなすばらしいニュースをお伝えできるのです。
