前バージョンの20.0.1から4週間弱でのアップデートになります。
公式発表の変更点は以下です。
20.1.0（2025年5月28日配信開始）
●スマートフォン向けアプリ『Nintendo みまもり Switch』が更新されることに伴い、みまもり設定に関するデザインを変更しました。
●HOMEメニューから「Nintendo Switch Online」を起動したときの効果音を変更しました。
●いくつかの問題の修正と動作の安定性、利便性を向上させました。
リリース直後ですのでまだ解析ができていません。Atmosphereにアップデートが必要かどうかなどわかれば追記します。

ファームウェアを解析したOatmealDome氏によると、Basic WhiteがBasic Lightに、Basic BlackがBasic Darkに、というテーマの名称変更とNintendo Switch OnlineアプレットがそのBasic Darkをサポートしたというテーマ関係の変更があったとしています。

その程度ならたいしたことなさそうですが、Atmosphereは動かないようです。SciresM氏はなる早でAtmosphereをアップデートするとしています。感染症にかかって回復しきってないみたいですけど。

テーマの名称が変わるのは全ての言語ではありませんでした。日本版はBasic White(ベーシックホワイト)とBasic Black(ベーシックブラック)のままのようです。
