PSPだけでなくXboxにもドライブのカスタムファームウェア対策が来たようです。メーカーとしてはオリジナルファームウェア以外は今まで以上に断固とした態度で排除する方針のようです。

It will be a collection of batch files which allow you to “manage” flashing of BenQ and LiteOn firmwares in the same way that the batch files for X360SAM operate. In other words, the batch files are the same as the ones for X360SAM and Samsung drives, except:
これはX360SAMでのバッチファイルを使う場合と同様の操作でBenQとLiteOnのドライブファーム書き換えをお手伝いするためのバッチファイルです。つまりはバッチファイル自体はSamsungドライブ＆X360SAMのものとの使うのと同じですが、違うのは以下です。

1) they use FIRMTOOL instead of X360SAM
X360SAMではなくFIRMTOOLを使う

2) they use DOSFLASH 1.3 and DOSFLASH 1.7 instead of MTKFLASH
MTKFLASHではなくDOSFLASH 1.3やDOSFLASH 1.7を使う

3) they’re for BenQ and LiteOn drives instead of Samsungs!

CHANGES SINCE LAST VERSION (apart from the LiteOn)
前バージョンからの変更点は以下

* BenQ files use DFLASH13.EXE instead of DOSFLASH.EXE
BenQ用ファイルはDOSFLASH.EXEではなくDFLASH13.EXEを使うようにした。

* If FIRMTOOL.EXE encounters a problem, the resulting BHACKED.BIN is deleted as it probably has the wrong key.
FIRMTOOL.EXEに問題がある場合におそらく間違ったキーであると思われるので、BHACKED.BINを削除するようにした。

* If you run BENREMOD.BAT then change your mind, it exits cleanly.
BENREMOD.BATは起動不要

ちなみにX360SAMとは何かというと、
X360SAM is a small MSDOS application which will take your original Samsung firmware plus a hacked firmware (such as XTREME.BIN) and will create a new hacked firmware containing the correct DVD key and firmware version.
X360SAMはMSDOSのアプリケーションでサムソンドライブのオリジナルファームと改造ファーム(XTREME.BINなど)を組み合わせて、正しいDVDキーとファームウェアバージョンにして新たに改造ファームを作成します。

というものです。サムソン以外対応版がリリースされるということです。
