A member of our forums, maibrithahn, seems to have fixed the issue with Davee’s HEN release yesterday. You can now execute homebrew if you are on firmware 5.03! Just download the updated package that is attached to this post. While we suggest waiting until Davee releases an official fix we thought the impatient amongst us might want to try it out. Instructions are after the break.

PSP-1000は相変わらず画像表示時点でなかなかうまくいきませんが非公式HEN導入完了後、デモ動画にもあったJellyCarというHomebrew起動確認しました。

この非公式版、昨日フォーラム眺めてた時に投稿されてきました。人柱待ちしてて寝て起きたら本物だったようです。

公式ChickHEN修正版登場へ

We just got word from Davee that two official updates are coming to ChickHEN. After releasing it last night with an unforeseen bug the team will be releasing an update today that will allow users to successfully boot homebrew and fix the wlan and mediasync issues. For those careful readers, revision is plural in the title. Another update will come at a later date which would add plugin support and test the network update.
Davee氏から2つ、ChickHENにアップデートがリリースされるという情報を得ました。バグ付きで昨晩リリースされた後、Homebrew起動を可能にすべく、そしてワイアレスLANとメディアの同期問題を解決すべくアップデート版を本日リリースする予定です。ご心配な読者の皆様、リリースは何回かに分割されます。次回以降のアップデートでプラグインのサポートとネットワークアップデートのテスト版が導入される予定です。

Shortly after the news broke out about the unofficial fix Davee came online and informed everyone in our chat channel that he would not be releasing an update. The community was not satisfied with the quick fix and rallied together behind Davee to encourage him to work on an official update from Team Typhoon. It’s thanks to the community who replied to the request for Davee to release it that we can bring you this great news.

ようやくPSP-3000でHomebrewが起動できるchiekHENがリリースされましたが、今まで沈黙を守ってきたDark-AleX氏のチームのAlek氏がブログsceners.orgでchiekHENについてコメントを掲載していました。【情報源:sceners.org】

After many delays, ChickHEN for 5.03 fw has been released
かなり予定より遅れましたが、ファームウェア5.03用ChickHENがリリースされました。

So, what do those 88v3 and 3k users have? Homebrew (user + kernel), being in memory instead of flash0.
TA88v3や3000のユーザーにとって何ができるのでしょうか？Homebrew(ユーザーモード＋カーネルモード)です。flash0ではなくメモリー上で起動します。

Some considerations (thanks n00b81 btw!) would be the fact that it doesnt allows you to run any sort of UMD backups or PSX games, neither plugins; and it would be interesting that you NOT install any custom theme on them, or you will end up with a bricked PSP.
十分検討した結果なのでしょうが、(ちなみにn00b81さんありがとう)UMDのバックアップの類いやPSX(PS1)のゲームは起動させてくれません。プラグインもだめです。そして面白いことにカスタムテーマもです。やってしまったらそこに残るのはbrickしたPSPです。

ちょっと皮肉っぽく翻訳してみました。翻訳次第で意図が変わる典型的な例だと怒られそうです。まあ、でも少なくとも称賛はしてません。どちらかというと鼻で笑ってます。

解説するでもなく、皆が当初「え？」とがっかりした話をならべてるだけです。その辺りが鼻で笑っているようにしか見えません！

This is result of my work with reverse engeneering irshell app. You know, the author of that app didn’t ever send me a single message, when I ask for help. But some free time + disassembler helps a lot :)
これはiRShellアプリのリバースエンジニアリング(解析)の結果です。ご存じのとおりこのアプリの作者からはお願いはしてみたものの何の情報も貰えませんでした。ただただ時間があるときにひたすら逆アセンブルしてモノにしました。

Now about changes:
現時点での変更点は:
* There won’t be SpeeDBoosteR option anymore, because it’s turned on by default, and now it’s compatible with *all games!
* SpeeDBoosteRオプションはもう不要です。標準状態でチューンされてます。そしてさらに、*すべてのゲーム との互換性を確保しました。
* Main engine was optimized (more then a half of source code was rewritten)
* メインエンジンが最適化されました。(ソースコードを半分以上書き換えました)
* Added new feature allowing to switch FS modes on-fly
* 新たにFSモード切替機能対応しました。

As for betatesters they can test all this new stuff right now, cause build 50 will be able for downloading today

現在のPSPは中途半端ながらモニター出力自体は持っているのですが、フルスクリーン表示ができるFuSaにはまだまだ需要はあると思います。
個人的にはポータブル機はポータブルでやればいいと思っているのであまり必要性は感じていませんが、みんなでPSPでワイワイやるにはいいでしょうね。

しかし逆アセンブルまでして大変御苦労されたようですが、Ahmanさん怒んないですかね。
